CH/U-CH Rhythm's Dat Knight on Bourbon St.

At Home

When we were looking for a new puppy, we wanted a good looking boy with drive to compete in performance sports.  We found a litter in Mississippi that had a pedigree with great temperaments, longevity, drive, as well as a strong show and performance background on both sides.  Mississippi is a long way from Illinois but after looking for so long for the right litter, it took no time at all to plunk down a deposit.  Best decision ever!

Parker very quickly proved his loving personality and his desire to work.  He was like a sponge in training and before he was a few months old was learning obedience, rally, tracking and agility.  He started earning his first titles at nine months and we keep on going.  He has a stellar temperament, calm, confident, easy to live with, gentle with children and new people.  He can take a correction, but works better for praise and toys.  He is sweet and funny and is thrilled when we are doing things together.  He does believe he is a lap dog however, and is definitely a mama's boy.  Thankfully he has a nice off switch and is willing to just hang out but is always ready if you are.

Parker has been owner-trained and handled for all venues except for AKC conformation.  We did train for conformation and he earned his UKC Championship with me as the handler.  However, health issues were looming (for me, not him) when he was doing AKC conformation, so using a handler worked perfectly.

Parker is a moderate boy with a very masculine headpiece, full dentition and excellent pigment.  He is very biddable, exudes breed temperament, nice rear, and a clean mover.  He stands 23" tall and weighs about 72 lbs. He does not carry a heavy coat but it is correct in texture.  He consistently has excellent semen counts with very high motility.  His semen also ships well (there have been multiple long distance breedings). To date litters average 50/50 boys and girls.

Parker is available for stud to approved bitches (I follow the GRCA standard. All bitches must have the basic four clearances and be over the age of 2). He is located in Elburn, IL. Please feel free to contact me, Donna Bihner, to discuss breeding plans and Parker's strengths and weaknesses. You are always welcome to meet him at a show or our home.
